Sonja G. Norris, DDS, PLLC
 

Dr. Sonja G Norris has been practicing dentistry for 20 years. Early on, her passion for children led her to open her own private practice to focus especially on children. Dr. Norris gears her practice to children with severe anxieties, autism, special needs and those who are medically compromised. She is sensitive to children (as well as their parents) with special or unique circumstances. The conception of her office came from the love she has for children, with colorful themed rooms and movies over the chairs.

In 2010 Dr. Norris was the featured cover story in the Capital Area Women's LifeStyle Magazine. In the same year, she was interviewed with two other women dentists in the Lansing Business Monthly Magazine.

Dr. Norris graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology in 1988 and graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1992.

Dr. Norris has maintained privileges at two major hospitals in Lansing where she has provided comprehensive treatment to over 2500 children. Dr. Norris is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Central District Dental Society and an Affiliate member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.  

Dr. Norris resides in Lansing with her husband Anthony and their two beautiful children, Sierra and Tyler. She enjoys traveling and Starbucks Frappuccinos!

Dr. Kristen earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Oakland University and her DMD from the University Of Pittsburg School Of Dental Medicine. She continued her studies after graduation and was a general practice resident at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, New York. Dr. Kristen provides dental services for children in the Grand Ledge office and McLaren hospital in Lansing. 

Dr. Kristen enjoys family and friends, camping, Pilates, and yoga.

Dr. Tu graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science Degree, and from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry with a DDS.

Dr. Tu likes to read, snow board, knit and crochet, draw and paint. Dr. Tu greatly enjoys her free time with her husband and her two daughters, ages two and four.

Kara graduated from Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan with an Associates in Applied Science and a Major in Dental Hygiene becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2009. Kara is certified in administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide.

Kara delivered a healthy 9lb 2oz baby girl this summer. She is back to work and totally enjoying life with her husband of two and a half years, her 11 year old step-son, and of course the new bundle of joy.
